Should probably remove the photo, or the “gently used” from the title.

Needs rear tyres, drivers side axle making a clunking noise and scraping along the ground. Easy fix, sold as seen.

The son of the guy I bought my 540i from showed me videos of him driving with the speedo pegged. Used it to get the price lowered. Probably should have just walked but there aren’t many 6spd 540i around here.

Those wheel do not fit that car AT ALL from an aesthetic viewpoint....
The burnout.......most likely the gas and brake were held down together until the torque converter loaded up and then the brake was released....What’s the problem? Minus the wheelspin, this is basically what happens when you depress the throttle to the floor when you get onto an on-ramp. There is a little more shock to the driveline, but it’s got an auto transmission with a 12" converter. Plenty of cushioning. I pulled the stock input shaft out of my Mustang as I upgraded it along with the torque converter. The stock one looked like it had just been milled after 21,000 miles and about 200 drag strip passes. This is on a car with more than double the output of the one in the ad.....
By all means use it as a bargaining tool; but truth be told, I wouldn’t sweat it. The wheels are a much larger transgression. If it’s under 120K miles, I’d offer $1800 and see what the seller says....
